Word of Mom Radio is committed to empowering MOMpreneurs and Business Women! A background in Theater has led me to BlogTalkRadio where I began as a co-host of The Three Wise Girls with Debbie Barth and Linda Alexander. After doing a 2-part segment on MOMpreneurs and with their encouragement enabled me to also develop my own BTR show – Word of Mom Radio – because, let’s face it – if you really want to get the word out – Mom’s are the best word of mouth advertising there is.
Six years of previous marketing and sales background went into developing S1™ Safety First, LLC. I have worked extensively with people with disabilities and is also an interpreter for the hearing impaired. Because of this side of my background, we introduced the two wheelchair backpacks into our full line of clear bags and backpacks – so children and adults with mobility issues would not have to wait until our product line developed further. We introduced our Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Bags and Backpack to busy business travelers. Our bags meet all Federal TSA guidelines as checkpoint friendly – which means you no longer need to remove your laptop at airport security checkpoints.
Previously, I was Vice President of two different marketing companies, concentrating on finding artists with disabilities freelance work to supplement their incomes while developing their graphic skills.
All in all, my commitment to making a difference led Word of Mom Radio and the launch of S1™ and this product line. Last, but not least, I am the mother of three children – well young adults – Dan, Rob and Courtney.  Take it from me – time flies- so seize the moment!
