Organizational History/Rationale

The Pink Wish Foundation began years ago as a concept developed by Ardre Orie while she was still in college. Ardre saw the need for a powerful empowerment program for girls. Growing up without a father in her life, Ardre was especially interested in helping young girls who lacked relationships with their fathers as well as to offer support to single mothers. Since that time, Ardre', the founder and Executive Director of the Pink Wish Foundation, has continued to tirelessly develop and expand her original concept into a program that uses creative concepts to engage young ladies and combines these concepts with strong messages of self-esteem, hope and empowerment to provide powerful impact in the lives of girls. and their mothers. Ardre has grown the original concept into a program serving over 400 children per year, in 5 cities, with 50 volunteers and 10 board members with anticipated growth and expansion annually. The Pink Wish Foundation is a registered non-profit in Florida and received 501c3 designation from the IRS in 2010.
