A native to Philadelphia, Sarah Sandria Waiters was born with a flare for fashion and individuality. Lacking any formal training, Sarah stumbled across her gift after crafting 30 handbags within a week’s span. Sarah was overwhelmed by the excitement her family and friends shared for her flawless creations – her work demonstrated that she is a natural. Without any delay, Sarah quit her job. Overnight, Sarah’s life became a whirlwind between raising two of her siblings and her journey as a new designer. Through the years, Sarah has mastered how to carry the weight of many responsibilities with style. She finds motivation in acts of philanthropy and the idea that she can be the first in her family to achieve recognizable success for her hard earned accomplishments.
BeMeFussi is a reference of luxury handbags that embodies style, sophistication, and exclusivity. BeMeFussi handbags are crafted in the U.S. by the hands of one individual. Sarah takes a unique freestyle approach to designing products and aims to be socially responsible in the process. “BeMe” represents the desire for her customers to be oneself. “Fussi” is an ode to a childhood nickname given to her buy her Uncle Moke - one of many to constantly inspire her to excel.
BeMeFussi’s mission entails giving individuality to each customer through a “Limited Edition” and “One of a Kind” design approach. BeMeFussi designs for the daring, stylish, professional, unique, classy, bold, and self-assured that demands to be recognized as both current, yet fashionably separate. Simplicity showcases the story, but it does not take away from the quality and creative individuality that emerges from this one designer.
