ABOUT OUR FOUNDER: Shantarra Houston, B.A, M.P.A, A.B.D in Education
Shantarra Houston is an entrepreneur, president of A Refined & Classy Lady, LLC, fashion stylist, professional speaker, and philanthropist with years of experience in the education profession as a teacher, department chairperson, curriculum developer, and trainer. She also has years of experience in administration, public speaking, and personal and professional image consulting. During her early years, the values of family and helping others were instilled in her. As a result of the values and growing up in a single parent home, she developed the passion for educating and assisting girls and women in areas that will help them to experience a more positive and successful personal and professional life. As an effort to further assist girls and after years of research, higher education accomplishments, work experience, and determination, WE R G.E.M.S was established.
